David Palmer is a highly experienced innovator and business leader with a track record of success in developing cutting edge technologies and services.
His experience extends to developing effective cultures and processes that foster creativity and innovation and to developing opportunities and markets for high growth companies.
With a strong background in science, technology and engineering he has worked extensively with many of the UK top universities as well as leading technology development organizations across the EU and US, creating advanced technology demonstrators and exploiting high value IP.
He has managed innovation teams in a leading bluechip multinational and been the Technical Director of the Data Information Fusion Defence Technology Centre, a consortia of government, industry and academia researching next generation technologies.
Prior to that, as a Principle Consultant with the UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency, he advised on systems and software issues for large government procurements.
David has worked extensively in the United States as well as in several European states. He has been a member of one of the DTI National Advisory Committees on business strategy, a member of the DTI Mission Team to CERN in 2006 and a member of several key UK and EU business forums.
David has a MSc in Computing for Commerce & Industry and is a Member of the British Computer Society.
